Through this week
there has been a couple of areas that I have learned to incorporate into my
research, and those are using journals and research notes. I have never
actually used journals as a research method. Somehow I never looked into them,
maybe assuming that they don’t have enough information in them. This is
actually the opposite, they are full of information. I feel as if, it’s almost a
compressed book. Whether it’s from a bibliography or citing that can assist
you. Also when you advance your search you can find a strong journal that can
have limitless effects on your journal. This has helped me broaden my research
from more than just books and the internet. As for the research notes, I found
them extremely helpful. It helps track what you have done, through that you can
see better what you need to change in your search. This has been helpful in also helping me make
my research deeper and hopefully more of a pleasure to read. While trying to
make my research topic deeper, there wasn’t really too many things that I felt
were difficult. But it was quite a process trying to eliminate journals and
articles that I found. As there were quite a few that were very informative.
